Job Description:
– An exciting Inpatient Auditing opportunity responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant coding working in an integral role directly for a large health system
– Act as a SME (subject matter expert) for the coding staff
– Complete internal Inpatient Audits and also assist in special projects like Auditing vendor resources
– Identify and track coding educational needs based on audit results
– Communicate effectively with all levels of staff within the health system

Requirements:
– At least 2 years of Inpatient DRG Auditing experience
– RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS. AAPC Credential/s may be considered with relevant Inpatient Auditing experience
– Must have a consistent work history, not seeking candidates who make frequent employer changes
– Ideal candidate will have Inpatient Auditing across a diverse case mix across multiple facility sites of varying sizes
– EPIC/3M 360 CAC experience desired
– Associate’s Degree preferred
– Employer is unable to hire from the following locations: Colorado, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio & Pennsylvania
