Working directly for a Health System

Salary: $85k-110k+

Location: Remote from most States

Job Description:
– Seeking an innovative Emergency Department Coding Manager who is metric driven
– This leader should bring new ideas as part of their leading practice approach
– An exciting opportunity for an HIM professional desiring to work in a newly created leadership role for a large health system
– Lead a team of over 30 Emergency Department Coders and staff
– Experience working for a multi-site and multi-state hospital system would be ideal
– Position will report to the Senior Manager of Outpatient Coding for the health system

Requirements:
– RHIA or RHIT
– Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required if experience is strong enough
– At least 3 years of Emergency Department Supervisory/Management experience overseeing a coding team
– Confident in your current ED Coding skillset
– Experience and knowledge in Professional Fee Coding would be a plus
– Employer is unable to hire from the following locations; Colorado, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio & Pennsylvania
