Job Description:
– An exciting Professional Fee Management opportunity working directly for a not-for-profit Health System
– This position will report to the the HIM Director and manage a team of 5 FTE’s(2 Auditor’s, 2 Educator’s & 1 Analyst) all focused in profee
– This role will lead coding education and quality operations across the physician enterprise and partners closely with physician leadership
– Expert knowledge of professional coding guidelines, including: ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, HCPCS Level II, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer reimbursement methodologies
– Experience managing outsourced coding vendors and vendor performance desired
– Communicates professionally with co-workers, management and hospital staff
– Ideal candidate will have experience working in Meditech(EHR) and 3M CAC(Encoder)
Requirements:
– At least 3 years of Management or progressive leadership experience
– CPC or equivalent professional coding certification
– Bachelor’s Degree required preferably in HIM
– RHIA or RHIT preferred
– Proof of COVID Vaccine required
– Willing to work onsite full-time in New Jersey
