Salary: $90-125k+ based on experience
Location: 100% Remote but must live in California
Job Description:
– An exciting Inpatient/Outpatient Coding Supervisor opportunity responsible for leading a team of 12 FTE’s (9 Coders (4 IP/5 OP) and 3 CDI Specialists) for a 200-300 bed hospital
– Possess good decision-making skills based upon a mixture of analysis, experience and judgement
– Seeking a candidate with a proven history of proactively identifying, resolving and escalating issues that impact business and documentation outcomes
Requirements:
– Must live in California where you will work 100% remotely
– At least 2 years of coding leadership experience
– RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS. It is possible other credentials would be accepted with great experience.
– Consistent work history, not seeking candidates who make frequent employer changes
– Familiarity with supervising in a union environment a plus
– Experience working in EPIC and 3M a plus
