Salary: $80k-115k+
Location: Onsite in Nevada
Job Description:
– Responsible for improving the overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation
– Facilitate modifications to clinical documentation through extensive interactions with physicians, nursing staff and other members of the health care team
– Ensure appropriate reimbursement and clinical severity is captured for the level of service rendered to all patients with a DRG based payer
– Exciting opportunity to work directly for Nevada’s premier Trauma, Teaching/Academic, Burn and Transplant acute care facility
– Communicates professionally with co-workers and leadership
Requirements:
– 2+ years of experience working in a CDI position
– Extensive experience working closely with the CDI team could also be considered if you haven’t previously specifically held a CDI titled role
– Specific Education, Certifications and Experience requirements will be shared with interested candidates
– RN not necessarily required which presents a unique opportunity to a Bachelor’s educated HIM professional desiring to transition into a CDI position
– Must live in Clark County, NV or be willing to relocate
