Job Description:
– An exciting Outpatient Coding Auditor opportunity working directly for a not-for-profit Health System
– Audit coded Outpatient medical records to ensure compliance with official guidelines, regulatory agencies and internal policies
– This role supports coding accuracy, education and process improvement through detailed review of encounters
– Communicates professionally with co-workers, management and hospital staff
– Ideal candidate will have experience working in Meditech(EHR) and 3M CAC(Encoder)
Requirements:
– At least 3 years of hands-on Outpatient Facility Coding/Auditing/Education experience
– High school diploma or equivalent
– CPC credential
– Willingness to complete an Outpatient Assessment
– Ideal candidate will have entirely facility Outpatient experience with no prior Professional Fee exposure
