Job Description:
– Seeking an Inpatient Coder with at least 3 years of Inpatient Academic and/or Trauma Coding experience
– Experience working complex Inpatient cases for large facilities is highly desired
– Review Inpatient charts and assign accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures
– Communicates professionally with co-workers, management and hospital staff
Requirements:
– At least 3 years of current Inpatient Coding experience
– RHIA, RHIT, CCS or CPC (with relevant IP Coding experience)
– Experience with or for an Academic/Trauma Hospital
– Willingness to complete an Inpatient Coding Assessment
