Job Description:
– Seeking a highly experienced Inpatient Auditor who enjoys the challenge of Auditing complex Inpatient Academic/Teaching facility cases
– Looking for the best of the best!
– Audit coding staff at facilities/health systems, review coder questions, validate DRG and provide feedback to the team as needed
– This opportunity will be working with Academic/Trauma hospitals so recent experience in similar facilities is required
– Communicates professionally with co-workers, management and hospital staff
Requirements:
– At least 3 years of current complex Inpatient Auditing experience at or for an Academic/Teaching hospital
– RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS
– Trauma experience a plus
– Experience in multiple EHR products desired
– Willingness to complete an Inpatient Auditing Assessment
